Assessments and behavior interventions are developed to decrease self-injurious, aggressive and tantrum behaviors across environments and people in each patient’s life. We examine if there is a skill deficit causing behavioral challenges and implement strategies to teach in this area. All behavior plans are done with compassion, empathy and concern for the patient’s needs and emotions.
One-on-one intensive treatment to teach new skills, extinguish challenging behaviors, train caregivers, and maximize each patient’s independence across all aspects of daily life.
Proven approach utilized by our treatment team with an individual patient to reduce toileting challenges. Methods are supported by data collection and analysis and are transferred across caregivers.
Evidenced-based and standardized assessments conducted to assess each patient’s strengths and challenges, need for treatment, and continual evaluation of treatment progress.
Combination of consultation and parent/team training for each patient. This service is complimentary to any Intensive Behavior Treatment program.
Each patient’s treatment team member will be individually selected for best fit based on education, experience, and evaluations.
Collaborative treatment method by working closely with each aspect of a patient’s life in order to ensure each patient receives the best care. Service offered to seek each patient’s rights through the assistance in preparation and attendance at a patient’s Individualized Education Plan meetings.
All patient’s caregivers will receive 1:1 training in their first 90-days of treatment and on-going training and support throughout the treatment relationship. These are implemented by a skilled Behavior Analyst that specializes in caregiver support.
Patient’s eligible for transition from our intensive treatment into another program, organization, or school setting require transitional support services including preparation assessments, behavior consultations across these transitional settings, and follow-up progress monitoring sessions to ensure the patient maintains and generalizes acquired skill sets.
