SOCIAL SKILLS INTERVENTION & TRAINING PROGRAMS
Targeting key social skills for intervention in one-on-one and selected peer-group sessions for social agility. Working closely with community networks and organizations to structure social opportunities best fit for each patient.
MAL-ADAPTIVE BEHAVIOR ASSESSMENT & TREATMENT
Conducting functional behavior assessments and functional assessments to identify estimated functions of challenging behaviors. Intervention plans developed to decrease self-injurious, aggressive, property destruction, tantrum, and atypical behaviors across environments and people in each patient’s life.
EARLY INTENSIVE BEHAVIOR TREATMENT
One-on-one intensive treatment to teach new skills, extinguish challenging behaviors, train caregivers, and maximize each patient’s independence across all aspects of daily life.
TOILET TRAINING PROGRAMS
Proven approach utilized by our treatment team with an individual patient to reduce toileting challenges. Methods are supported by data collection and analysis and are transferred across caregivers.
SHORT-TERM IMPACT TREATMENT
One-on-one and group intensive treatment to incorporate the Early Intensive Behavior Treatment service across a shortened, intensive period of time. This service is often beneficial for patients attending regular school years in need of intensive treatment during summer periods, school breaks, and after school hours.
Evidenced-based and standardized assessments conducted to assess each patient’s strengths and challenges, need for treatment, and continual evaluation of treatment progress.
INDIVIDUALIZED BEHAVIOR CONSULTATIONS
Combination of consultation and parent/team training for each patient. This service is complimentary to any Intensive Behavior Treatment program.
Each patient’s treatment team member will be individually selected for best fit based on education, experience, and evaluations.
BUILDING THE PYRAMID
Generalization training for each level of a patient’s pyramid (caregivers, family, community, etc.). Generalizing all skill sets across every level in order for each patient to live the utmost quality and functional life across all environments and people.
COORDINATED CARE & IEP CONSULTATION
Collaborative treatment method by working closely with each aspect of a patient’s life in order to ensure each patient receives the best care. Service offered to seek each patient’s rights through the assistance in preparation and attendance at a patient’s Individualized Education Plan meetings.
TRANSITION SUPPORT SERVICES
Patient’s eligible for transition from our intensive treatment into another program, organization, or school setting require transitional support services including preparation assessments, behavior consultations across these transitional settings, and follow-up progress monitoring sessions to ensure the patient maintains and generalizes acquired skill sets.
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
Aiming to improve socially significant behaviors using scientifically based principles and procedures to increase, maintain, and generalize appropriate behaviors and to reduce interfering or mal-adaptive behaviors.
Verbal Behavior (VB)
Aiming to teach language and communication for each patient to maintain the ability to function as a speaker to access his/her wants and needs and to also function as a listener to follow directions and respond appropriately with others.
Precision Teaching (PT)
Basing treatment program decisions on changes in continuous monitored performance frequencies in order to precisely and systematically evaluate instructional treatment provided.
Natural Environment Training (NET)
Structured treatment focused on each patient’s immediate motivation as a guide to target language, communication, daily living, and related skills. Training in this approach allows for more naturally occurring teaching opportunities and reduces the need for intensive generalization procedures.
